to the  Abode!
Big Brother, which debuted July 5, put 10 House Guests in a small home
for 89 days, cutting them off from outside contact while the rest of America watches them
interact (go insane?) and vie for a $500,000 grand prize. Viewers will vote out one
participant every other week, and the House Guests spend their days growing their own
food, splitting daily chores, and competing in weekly challenges.
The show, based on several hugely popular European versions, will air five
nights a week for three months in pre-edited episodes (taped just 24 hours in advance).
You can check out live, 24/7 video feeds at the Big Brother website (you will (unfortunately)
need RealPlayer to view the feeds).
Julie Chen, will host a live, one-hour special every Wednesday in front of a
studio audience, conducting interviews with House Guests who get banished.
